Q: Where did you grow up?

A: I was born in Greeley, Colorado and grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Not too many Colorado natives around these days, but I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. 

Q: What is the best place you have ever visited?

A: Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France.  Sitting inside and thinking about how they were able to build such an amazing building with the limited tools they had is remarkable.

Q: What is your favorite movie and why? 

A: Ronin and The Rock.  The car chases in those movies are amazing.  The chase in the movie The Rock ends with a crashed Ferrari, which is never good, but you can’t go wrong with a car chase in San Francisco.

Q: Where would you go and what would you do on your "dream" vacation? 

A: I’d stay in a countryside villa in Italy and try to blend in with the locals…which might be hard since I don’t speak Italian, but I’d try just the same.  Going to Europe and hitting the tourist spots is great, but becoming engulfed in the culture and living like the locals do is truly an eye-opening experience.  I had the great fortune of living and working in Germany for three months and I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.

Q: What is your favorite book? 

A: Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.  This one goes along with my favorite location, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.  It takes you through the experiences of someone living in that timeframe and building a cathedral.  I don’t know how they did it!
