Q: Where did you grow up?

A: East coast! I grew up in Watertown, NY and moved to Fort Mill, SC in my freshman year of high school. Like a lot of the east coast transplants, I had to be in the mountains, and moved to Colorado as soon as I possibly could.

Q: What is the best place you have ever visited?

A: So far, my favorite travel destination is Whistler, B.C., but I also really loved the German countryside, Paris and Barcelona.

Q: What's your favorite restaurant and why?

A: Although fondue is my favorite food, I enjoy making it at home rather than going to a restaurant. I love just about any Mediterranean or Sushi restaurant.

Q: What is your favorite movie and why?

A:  My all-time favorite movie is the "comedy cult" movie, Wet Hot American Summer, but I also love heist movies like Snatch.

Q: What do you do to help save the environment?

A: I love to ride my bicycle, and am proud to say that I don’t use my car on my commute to work every day. I try to use public transportation or walk as much as possible, and I am constantly turning off lights and sorting the recycling in my house. I also try to support "green" businesses and stay up-to-date on ways I can make my daily life more sustainable.

Q: Do you play a sport?

A: I play in a recreational volleyball league, and also enjoy pick-up soccer games.

Q: Do you have an interesting hobby?

A: I am just a little obsessed with snowboarding. I also really enjoy rock climbing and hiking (I hope to summit all of the CO 14ers in my lifetime!). I have recently gotten into photography and photo editing, though I am still a bit of a newbie.

Q: What was the last concert you went to?

A: I listen to a very wide variety of music, the last concert I went to was Jay-Z at the Pepsi Center, and the next concert I’ll be going to is the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.

Q: Where would you go and what would you do on your "dream" vacation?

A: My ultimate dream "vacation" would be to travel from country to country, spending a few months in each to completely immerse myself in the culture there. I am constantly changing my mind, but Costa Rica, Thailand, Peru and Argentina are currently at the top of my list. I also hope to hike the entire Appalachian Trail some day.

Q: What is your favorite book?

A: I have a lot of favorite books, but the ones on the top of the list are "Catch 22" by Joseph Heller, "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley, "High Infatuation" by Steph Davis, and anything by Kurt Vonnegut. I am also a big Harry Potter nerd.

Q: What is your favorite sports team?

A: The New York Giants and Syracuse University college basketball.
