WHAT’S THE BEST PLACE YOU HAVE EVER VISITED?
I have not even begun to travel as much as I would love to… so in my limited travel I’m actually going to pick three!
Hawaii is the most recurring. If I could begin or end each day by snorkeling with the fish/turtles, and the off chance of seeing a whale or swim with the dolphins…count me in. The place(s) are beautiful, I got married there, it’s very relaxing – what more do I need to say!
New York – quite the opposite of Hawaii, but so much fun and interesting for many different reasons. I love the different districts, the subway, central park, cool bars, great food, and endless entertainment. I also just love that big city energy (when I’m just vacationing), it almost makes you enjoy your vacation even more.
England/London – it’s the soccer, it’s the old English feel, the history, the pubs, the palace, castles, the accent…and did I mention soccer! I’ve only been once, but I would love to go back again.
IF YOU WERE A SUPERHERO, WHAT WOULD YOUR SUPERPOWER BE AND WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT?
I’d like to clarify that I recognize my response is completely selfish. That said, if I had to choose something other than “the power to do whatever I want, whenever I want”…it would be teleportation (for me and whatever possessions or friends/family I choose), so I could instantaneously be in any part of the world, at any time. And what would I do with it? I’d use it! This would help to fulfill my desire to see the world. Not to mention, avoid the security line at the airport.
IF YOU HAD TO WATCH ONE SPORT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
If I had to watch only one (because I love all sports) it would definitely be Premier League Soccer. It is by far my favorite sport, having grown up playing it (and still do.) The passion is incredible; both in terms of players/coaches, and the fans. I also just have a true appreciation and love for the individual skill, team strategy, and athleticism of the game. There is nothing like being in a Premier League Stadium, watching teams compete at the absolute highest level, among crazy and passionate fans.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELIEVE STRESS?
A good long run/jog can usually get my mind off of things…though is also often used to think through something I have not had time to do otherwise, so it works both ways. Either way, I feel a sense of self satisfaction and relaxation when I’m running and breathing some good fresh air.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY?
Hmmm; hiking, snowboarding, snowshoeing, mountain biking, snorkeling….or, going to the playground with the kids, dog park with the pups…. or, tailgating before a CU Football game with family and friends. There isn’t really too much I wouldn’t enjoy outdoors.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
What is this so-called “spare time”?
