WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
I grew up in Frazee, MN. It’s a tiny town about 3 hours from Canada, and home to the “World’s Largest Turkey”.

WHAT WOULD YOUR DREAM VACATION BE?
I’ve never been to Europe, so I think it would be neat to visit there. I really want to go backpacking through Italy, Switzerland, and Germany. There’s just so much culture, history, and natural beauty. Oh and I’ve been told that the food is AMAZING.

WHAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULDN’T GUESS ABOUT YOU?
At 5’-10”, I’m one of the tallest people in my family (including extended family). Every holiday get-together, I would always receive comments like “how tall are you now?” or “you should quit growing”. Also despite being tall, I’m not that good at basketball.

WHAT’S THE BEST PLACE YOU HAVE EVER VISITED?
Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It’s so beautiful!  It’s hard to believe that it’s real and not a mythical place.

WHO IS THE BEST BAND AND TO SEE LIVE?
Hands down it would have to be Arcade Fire. Everything from the visuals, lights, stage design, and performance is incredible. The best concert I have ever been to!

YOU’RE THE STAR OF GROUNDHOG DAY, BUT YOU GET TO CHOOSE A DAY OUT OF YOUR LIFE TO RELIVE. WHAT’S YOUR DAY LIKE?
I would have to pick the time I was on vacation with my boyfriend and his family in Acadia National Park. We spent the day driving around the park, exploring the beach, and walking around Bar Harbor. We finished the night off with wine and lobster. It was the perfect day!

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT?
Chez Elle in Kansas City, it is an adorable Parisian café with the best crepes I’ve had. It also has a beautiful view of the KC skyline.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY?
I love to hike and explore nature. I absolutely love the mountains, and I plan to visit them as often as I can this summer. I also like to fish. Growing up in Minnesota I learned to fish from a young age, and it has always been a regular family activity. Fishing taught me to respect and appreciate nature. A bad day of fishing is still a good day.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
I’m a senior in engineering, what’s spare time?
