Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Maxwell’s passion for design was sparked by a love for discovery. Whether flying to concerts in Los Angeles, taking architecture boat tours in Chicago, or retreating to a cabin in Montana, he found himself continually drawn to the built environments that housed these experiences.

That curiosity evolved into a career in architectural lighting design. Today, Maxwell brings that same sense of wonder into his work, aiming to design environments that evoke emotion, create atmosphere, and leave a lasting impression, just as the spaces of his own experiences have done for him.
